This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.

A voice not quite loud enough to hear properly was talking about charges and disconnected. I called the number back and a different, real voice again very quiet spoke, whilst I was trying to hear the call I could hear a dog barking and so hung up and blocked the number.
This phone number was sent to me in a text message from a “debt recovery agency” and was told to phone this number, the Text itself doesn’t show a senders number, only DEBT RECOVE, I did call the number to see who it was and it was answered by an Asian man who asked why I was calling him,

This is a scam pretending to be an Amazon call centre as they had our email and then changed our Amazon account password, that generated an email to us with an OTD code. Takes a while for call to connect. Was a female voice saying she could save me a lot of money as she could give me a discount on my o2 bill along with something else - unrelated to a mobile phone but I couldn’t catch it as she talked quickly. I cut her off.
Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam
