Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. No idea how these goons got my number but they're persistent. I answered today and the first thing I said was 'This is about the seventh call I've had from this number' and he just glossed over it and started his pitch. Told him I'm 85 miles away in Gloucestershire but suggested the cost of travel is an investment and worth it! I'm like 'you bloody pay for it then!'
