we have just had a call from this number saying the same thing to my husband. They asked for DoB & his bank which he gave unfortunately even tho he said if he had money from his bank due how come they did not know which bank he was with and why did they need this info just send the cheque!. But they had quite a few number off his credit card which is worrying. They wanted more number confirming but that he would not give. He was told they would write to him but we wont hold our breath. SCAM Obviously a spoofed number as definitely not calling from central London. Couldn't really understand what she was saying as she was in a loud "call centre" and spoke with a heavy indian accent. She said it was a promotional call - but i seriously doubt that.
It is a pharmacy in Stanmore but cannot remember the name. I kust know it is on the Uxbridge Road. When I go in there next I will make a note of it. It was an ex Boots Chemist shop now indeprndant pharmacy
