Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.

SCAM, York number pretending to be bank security and asking you to press 1 to go to customer service, I got exactly the same message from a Norway number about an hour and a half later, message immertates bt text but comes up as a number. Do not pick up, Norway number was 004721956764

Scam recording threatens imminent legal action...HMRC would not do this via a phone call msg, automated or otherwise! Automated call claiming to be from a bank fraud department with suspicious activity on a card for transactions of hundreds of pounds. No bank name was mentioned and it asked to either authorise payments or choose to speak to someone. When no choice was pressed immediately the call was ended.

Plus my case was in court and im a creditor with the Liquidation Administrators
