Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

Got a call from 01745 11855 re PPI. Am preference registered so they should not call me.

Cold caller trying to get us to change landline/broadband. Insisted on speaking to Director. Would not say who he was until pressed several times. Would not say what he was calling about until pressed. When I started to tell him the proper procedure, he hung up in mid-sentence.

Cardiff based company didn t leave a message assume it s ppi or that accident I supposedly had in my imaginary car! wish there was a way to stop them or sue the companies that sell on our phone numbers.

This number keeps calling me, even in the middle of the night, it is really irritating. Do not answer them, I believe you end up paying for their call somehow....

Have also used 02037401974. scam involving getting personal information from you by saying you can claim personal damage from car accidents

Since no message was left on my answerphone machine, I must assume that this was not a valid call. They called three times today according to my caller display.
