Caller claimed he was ringing back about "refund" but nobody had called him. He also asked for a Mr Stewart - nobody here with that name.

Same as below, called saying I was entitled to a tax rebate, and saying I could claim money back for washing my clothes. Line quality was appalling, sounded like they were calling from inside a tin can.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I ve now put this on call barred as sick of it ringing several times a day. As soon as my answermachine cuts in they hang up.

SCAM!! Received a call from "David" from carphone warehouse. He called me "Mam" on the phone, and when i asked him what my name was, he said their privacy policy didn't allow them to see names, just numbers. I said I didn't accept calls from people if they didn't know my name and his reply was "are you deaf or something?" I didn't get the chance to answer his question as he swiftly hung up! Clearly a scammer of some sort! AVOID!!
