They call me to sell me iPhone 13, for £30 per month, They said will pay all my obligations to my previous Phone service provider it is roughly £500, and I will pay nothing. I didn't trust them and close the phone.
A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.
This is a scam. I asked him if he was trying to scam me and told him I could keep him talking for hours if he wanted and he put the phone down on me.

A scam. I think. Asking me to ring back re two payments from Visa card. Careful out there.
Said he was from EE - offering me a 30% discount on my phone bill for being such a good customer- I just had to provide them with confirmation of my details (That old chestnut!). I'm not even with EE. Scam!
They have now phoned me twice in a matter of minutes saying they were from BT . Its about my Internet speed I hang up both times . Safe number Friendly number Information Internet Call center Internet SCAM .
