This call was the same as others have reported. My internet was going to go down unless I logged and on and followed their instructions. These calls have only started since I reported a fault to BT so I m wondering how they have access to this information or is this just a coincidence?

Another nuisance caller...... who didn't speak
Rude and pushy, tried to make me make a bogus claim about an accident I had last year, that had been settled. When I said no he put the phone down

SCAM - Claimed to be from HMRC telling me there was a tax fraud case open against me. Absolute tosh, of course.
No message left by the caller and my return attempts say the phone is switched off *SCAM*

l would love to know where these annoying ppl get our number l cannot block the number either
Monday 8th March 2021 I had two missed calls/ voicemail messages -(I have set unknown callers to go to voicemail) Time was 10:28 : An American sounding automated voice ": County Courthouse saying please call this number then reads number omitting leading zero ; I inadvertently called back. Woman answered immediately with my name asking what they could do for me. I hung up. I called again whilst blocking my caller ID and got automatic line busy message.
