I should press 1 immediately or the Police would come and arrest me" gave a tone for me to dial. I was then called by a Mobile number 07418 600607 where a guy tried to tell me the same thing but I hung up.

I keep getting a call from this number and another 01620492281 within minutes of each other on searching I found on this sight its the same company! I don't know them and don't need their services what ever that may be, no message is ever left so I would suggest it is a call centre arrangement of some kind.

Scam text purporting to be from British Gas saying they have made an appointment for me. I did not respond but then had several texts on the day they said the appt had been made saying they were on their way but might be late! No-one turned up I'm pleased to say. I didn't click any links so don't know what the scam is about - probably an information phishing expeditiion - but it is very clever and needs to be exposed.
