A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. The number he called from was 02036
SCAM A female automated voice said that she was calling me from my bank about two transactions this morning. One was for £300 to Amazon and £1100 for a bank transfer. A total scam.

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

SCAM had a call from this number by a woman claiming to be from O2. Offering a discount on all 02 contracts. I asked what name she had on the file and told me that she didn't have a name that it was a general call to all 02 customers for this great offer of 50% off the contract. I told that you don't work for 02, if you did you would know my full name and customer account number, with this she groaned and hung up.

Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. Text from this number purporting to be from Post Office. Notification of delivery failure and requesting £1.99 redelivery fee. I suspect that if you click on the pay now button it will ask for card details from which to extract the fee. I have had it confirmed by the Company from which I was expecting the parcel and by Royal Mail that this is a scam. The html behind the website interface is http://www.w3.org/1999/html, which when googled separately does not exist.
