This number should be a landline from London. I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Did someone answer this number?

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 7098710xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with silent calls/testing robocalls, PPI - insurance marketing calls and energy companies offers - wide scope call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

As can be seen here on these pages, there is a range of numbers used by the same call centre doing business on a field of fake PPI claims (just some call centre so sometimes they pretend to be financial services, PPI, loans...) and their goal is still the same - to dig some personal data for further use... This range is 016146469xx, probably 01614646xxx, so be aware if such numbers call. Block this range and do not amswer these calls...

When called there is an American voice recorded message "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line & you will be transferred to next available agent..." It then plays music while caller holds. Long wait times, if you get connected to the agent. This seems to be a growing trend with different numbers continually changing. Potential fraud or scam.

Offering reduced cost line rental. Sounded very convincing. Company name called switchit. When I said I have all their costs I will call them back. I was amazed they left me a number 08000384191. I tried to check out the Co. But they don't seam to exit, would you believe it. Be wary their just after your bank details.

I purchased a phone with built-in call nuisance barring............. hah got over that hurdle people..... Seriously though if you're plagued do what I did..... peace perfect peace...... Just love checking the numbers to see which pest didn't manage to get through..... quite entertaining..... they'll get bored before too long
