Called saying they were from business roundtable and were doing a survey. I informed him that we did not do surveys especially over the telephone when we do not know who we are giving the information to, he was very polite, but I am not sure if it is a genuine survey or a scam.
Luke Ballantyne was listed as a Director of HML Consultants but resigned in November 2019, with Sarah Aldrige appointed as a Director in the same month. Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. There are a few postings already online indicating this is a further scam. When they call they imply you already have extended warranty cover with them and are asking for your bank det

Before I even thought about handing over that info I asked them, how do I know your from VM. Every time they hang up after that. Suspicious to me.
