Make sure with cold calls you hang up as quick as possible. If you are prepared to listen and allow them to talk for a while, you go on a list - a 'prepared to talk' list. This will just encourage more and more calls and these lists are apparently sold from criminal gang to criminal gang

Interesting as this had the same locality number as my home phone but I know for certain there is no call centre near me so they are masking their number. Probably from abroad. Didn't answer it.
