A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). SCAM - Indian lady impersonating O2. I get these calls frequently from various numbers. They refused my GDPR request.
I expect 01663898313 is a cold call, aka spam. I have received two calls from it so far and each time it hangs up on my answering.
Language inappropriate
Scam claiming to be from Currys. They only had my telephone no name total Phil?
Said they were from my bank (did not name bank) stating they have blocked a transaction of £600 from western union. Asked me to click a button so I hung up! Dangerous bank scam !!!
He's a scammer...claimed he was with EE calling about my account...but I left EE 6 months ago.
Feel a bit uneasy about this number. Stated as being in Rochdale yet caller said was calling from Colchester.
This is the latest spoof number in the "Carphone Warehouse" scam - they aren't Carphone Warehouse but a bunch of crooks after your bank details.
