Try to mislead you with the name etc. They told me consumer protection to make you think its a government body or alike. Should be stopped by trading standards.

called several times claiming (in a thick indian accent) to be from "extra energy", asking for the owner of our small business by name. seems the callers are told to ignore whatever you say and simply proceed with claiming that they will beat our next monthly energy statement. if you refuse at this point they simply probe you for any more numbers they can call. asked last week for them to remove us from their list, caller stopped attempting politeness and angrily hung up. they still call.

Two calls with an automated voice saying HMRC were issuing a High Court writ against me and to press 1 immediately. I hung up.
This number is a scam number purporting to be HMRC COURTS & TRIBUNALS DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM ME IN ALL SORTS OF WAYS BY POST EMAIL AND PHONE DO NOT PHONE THIS NUMBER THEY ARE VERY CONVINCING BUT ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM THIS NUMBER NEEDS TO BE BLOCKED BEFORE ANYONE ELSE LOSSES MONEY
