Received a random text from this number using my name and telling me I had a "new photo message" at some url. I don t know the number and I am not from the UK. I have no idea where this person(?) got my contact information.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 3334439xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance management, PPI - just another call centre. Just block it if

I was called today ostensibly to discuss cover for the new phone I d bought. I haven t and when I told the caller I hadn t, he got off the line pretty sharpish. BUT what is disconcerting, is that I now have to start exploring whether I m the victim of identity theft...just in case. I could honestly do without this.
