I suspect this is a call centre whose employees have to hit certain call targets per day the operators don t care if they sell the service or not, so any number will do to justify their monthly salary cheque. Annoying is an inadequate word to describe these calls, a little internet research revealed they are an accident insurance claims telesales company. Since I have no record of any accident or insurance claim in the last 20 odd years, they can t be doing their research very well, or they just don t care

Same as the previous two comments: Caller asked about government scheme for loft insulation.Very suspicious. He could be calling to confirm phone numbers on a suckers list are real. No doubt this will be followed by future scam calls. I'd classify this as potentially dangerous.
got 2 calls in the space of half an hour from this number, claiming to be from Microsoft and that my "Windows computer" has downloaded a virus without my knowledge. Not according to my a/v software, which is active on all the windows machines at home. Usual scam, supply a credit card number which will get fleeced, but more worryingly they will ask for control of your windows computer to download that very virus they were talking about to your machine.

SPAM This number was received from the sale person called Chris. ( His accent was Indian accent) he was impolite and rude lad and he work with company called Elit Solutions . A I asked him to stop calling me but he keeps call me 5 times per day from different numbers . He was very rude
Rang on 0843 980 1267 with an auto message saying due to a change in the law our life insurance needed reviewing as there is a lower cost. Press 5 for a call back. Rang on this number a few hours later. I questioned who they were and that I didn t want to discuss such matters on the phone & he hung up on me. Very rude! Blocked!!
