SCAM / SPAM recorded message purporting to be from HM Customs & Revenue about my name being used in a fraud. Message asks to press 1. I hung up since HM C&R never call you.

They call 4x per day and ask you to press 5 on your phone if you wish to speak to someone and 9 if you wish to be removed from their database. I pressed 9 after the first three calls I recieved and this has done nothing. I ve pressed 5 and had the phone slammed down on me when I said I don t need a PPI claim I just wanted them to stop bothering me.
15 calls in 2 days and every time I answer they hang up. Number now blocked!

SCAM
Recorded message claiming that two charges had been received by my (unnamed) bank, one for Amazon (yawn!) and one for (unnamed) "Money Transfer". Obvious scam. Why can't these people find something useful to do, preferably a long way away?
