The guy said I called for an uber which I did not. He asked me to confirm my name "Is this xyz" I did not confirm my name. He said that you have called an Uber and I confirmed I did not. 2 Hours late I log onto my bank, and there were 5 transactions taken from my account - completely emptying it. All from Uber... There was a number of calls from very similar numbers too. After talking to my bank, they said they take your money from your card details. DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL!

I have been called at least once a day for the last week. They either hang up before I get a chance to answer or there is just silence when I do answer. Called by 0845286 1446 at 1.38pm today, 25/07/2017. There was silence when I answered the phone - I said "hello" twice, then put the phone down. This is the first time I have been called by this calling centre - usually they have a 0203, or 0800 number. I thought cold calling was illegal ?
