I think the best way to hit them where it hurts (if you have the time) is to keep the on the line as long as possible, keeping them thinking you are/might be interested, without giving out personal (or real) details. This number repeatedly called me after my husband who has alzheimers took the first call. He remembered nothing about this call but they rang again quoting all the information he had given them, when I refused to pass the phone to him they repeatedly rang me for a couple of days. eventually I reported them to the police and thought that was the end of it. Today they have phoned me 3 times!! At a loss now what to do.
