SCAM number as if you try to call it back they end your call. When I answered the call the guy couldn't talk very good English, too myself, he then said that he's from citizens advice bureau and has found out information that I've got a lot of debt and they wish to help me dispose of the debt I then asked how does citizens advice know I have debt when I have not and then I said to them citizens advice do not cold call you you have to make appointments to go and see them so this is a scam.
Today calling. HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately.

Silent call at 3 a.m. scared me, I thought something bad happened
Sent me some claims forms earlier this year regarding PPI claim, after receiving a cold call. They were going to take 55% out of the proceeds including VAT. I told them I could do it myself for nothing and told them not to bother me again. Thy have called me again, twice in January 2014 regarding financial advice. I told them on both occasions to stop the calls. I have now reported them to TPS.

Someone called from this number with loft insurance scam

I did not understand what she was saying and asked for clarification. The answer was: i have no time to speak and hang up the phone. You cannot trust such an"recruiter".
SCAM Sounded like someone faking a prerecorded message claiming my national insurance number had been compromised and inviting me to press 1. When I didn’t, they hung up.
