Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.
SCAM Caller said that my central heating boiler maintenance account had been renewed. When I challenged the caller with telling me what sort of boiler I had, I was told to shut up and the call disconnected.

Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.

We wanted a quote for a sliding door for our back porch and the salesman quoted over 6k and then he dropped the price to 2 times! They try to pressure you and that if you dont sign today you wont find a better deal! Salesman ask what your job occupation is which has nothing to do with your quote and are fishing for how much money they can squeeze out of you.
