The nuisance calls had stopped for a few days but then I got a call from this invented number. (The fakers make up different numbers each day.) There was silence when I answered. Sure enough, when I checked I found several other people who had had the same experience had reported it on another site.
This number is actually listed on Vodafone's website!

Called me a few weeks ago trying to sell me broadband even though ee is my broadband provider ... told them to not call me back and have had 13 calls over 2 days I answered today and as soon as I did they hung up ... waste of time

The more people who pluck up the courage to report these xxxxxxxx the better they are nothing more than xxxx preying on vulnerable and unsuspecting people. Someone out there must know the address they operate from so make it known so that we can start harassing them
Uninsured losses. I have had over 200 calls from this & other numbers trying to get me to claim for non existent injuries due to a non fault car accident over 2 years ago
SCAM be careful fake royal mail asking to pay delivery fee for an unpaid parcel , do not click on the link they ask for all your card details.
