I live in sheltered housing and they ring me, I think by accident, to see if I was OK. I rang them back and they just wanted to know if I had any medical problems or needed any help.
Automated woman's voice saying that there have been two charges on my card, one of which was £300 for Amazon. Then an invitation to press one button to allow the charges or another button to speak to an adviser. No mention. of course, of my bank's name. Clearly a SPAM call.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Automated call dialler validating your number for advanced scams. It was a repair company in Canarvan but number used for autodialler with repeating no-take reception.
The number was in an email which said it was from a friend (who I've not been in contact with for years) , asking for "help", but it was very much like another email I had just received from someone else saying he was a friend but that was spam. The number above was not one I recognised and when called simply asked callers to leave a message.
