They are very convincing in regards to the size of the initial potential claim which involves the initial customer service/sales guy "researching" the claim size while you're on the phone, finding a decent amount of money (i.e. enough to justify you shelling out 500 quid for what is something you never thought you were owed anyway), and then referring you to his manager due to the size of the claim + lots of friendly patter about what you'll spend the money on etc (while mentioning once or twice you may not
