SCAM. Said it was a government call (from a mobile number???) saying my National Insurance Number was used for suspicious activities and was going to be suspended. Prompted to press 1 to talk to someone but I ended the call before that.
It is just annoying how they are always ringing me What i tend todo is just block there number each time they try

SCAM / SPAM car accident
Receipt of this call coincided with the real Talk Talk offering a new contract designed to keep me as a customer. A preliminary was that they were improving my broadband to stop buffering - a long-standing issue. The recorded voice I heard gabbling in this call was telling me, for the umpteenth time, that my broadband was going to be disconnected. These criminals use different fictitious numbers each day. Pure phishing - ignore & delete.
Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.
