Just received a call to tell me that my debit card has been used

Comes up with additional digits (e.g. 01915438807243 or 0191543880722) - too many for STD Area Code 0191. Silence when you make connection. Highly suspicious.

Well spoken young male Caller stated "Hello my names Chris and I am a heating insulation advisor in your post code area" or something very similar. Clearly not the case as the caller's number was displayed on my phone. I replied " No you're not you are a bastard scammer" Chis replied OK and rang off.
