using Tellows I see that this number is based in same area as other companies who cold call trying to get me to make investments.
Unsolicited call. Rang andcwhen answered they hung up. Geographically number licated in the buxton, derbyshire area. Coukd not get any more info on the number. Dont know if they are a scammer or not...but my number is onlynoassed out to about 20 family members only. So treat wuth caution, hopefully Im wrong they are kegitimate business. Ash
An automated message was played that the were calling from National Crime agency regarding suspicious activity on my NI account, and that my NI number and account will be closed and any assets I have frozen, and asked to press option 1 to speak to an officer, I did not press it!!!

Fraud ...saying there has been a payee added to your account at LLOYDS bank. Gives a link to LLOYDS when you call the number it goes straight to the answering machine. Sent them a text saying their number was with the police and blocked them.

Silent call, no person spoke and then the call was ended.
On a mobile telephone I use only for emergencies I received a text message suggesting I apply for flight delay compensation. I get many unwanted calls. This was another uninvited intrusion. I have not flown! They must have randomly picked my number. It was bad manners, another impertinence of the type that needs to be stopped.

This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. Appears to be operating in the UK, English accent. Claims to be from an energy supplier from 'your area' however they are cold calling and know nothing about you. They will hang up quickly as soon as you query further, they will ask for personal details. Believe they are trying to sell loft insulation / boilers unsolicited however be careful they are also likely putting you out of pocket and potentially a SCAM.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC
