Got a text from this number today, 7 Sept. Never opened the text and deleted it straight away. I could see that it was some fake warning about a PayPal account being accessed from a new device. Since I do not have a PayPal account, I immediately realised that it was a phishing attempt.
they knew my name and they discaonnected after saying it. All I said was "yes" in response to their question about the owner of the phone. male Asian accent.
