Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

SCAM. Asian/Indian sounding voice but no indication of what they were calling about or from where. Just asking to speak to someone and when told person was not on this line they rang off.
Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.
