These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility. TPS is useless against these callers.

SCAM. This phone number called purporting to be from National Crime Agency stating issues with National Insurance number. When challenged as to purpose of they all they hung up.

I do not answer phone numbers beginning 01202 as when checked here all have been identified as possible fraud/scam calls. By mistake I answered a call from this number yesterday which led to a man trying to discuss my recent install of roof insulation (never happened). I told the man in no uncertain terms to stop calling me and guess what happened today at 1230, same number calling again ( No didn’t answer). Apparently unable to recognise rejection of their possible fraud/scam.
