HMRC scam
The caller claimed to be a staff member from Leeds city council benefits team. I do not know if that s true, because you can tell me so much. When something from me want to write the letter.

I have seen comments related to other numbers from a company calling themselves Energy Resource. I have myself previously received calls from another number but from tyne same company with the same Scottish accented voice on the end of the line. This is a new number but with the same tactic of purporting to be a marketing company investigating whether you are eligible for upgrades to your heating system but of course they are actually trying to sell you those upgrades. I had a call today from 0113 160 0000. I thought it might have been a marketing call so did not answer it. Now I will put their number into the 'auto-reject' list.
5 missed calls in 5 hours. Blocked!!! If no Voicemail is left it’s bound to be PPI etc
Its from the NSPCC. When you return the call there's an automated message that tells you they tried to contact you to give you an update on their work and will try again.

Unsolicited call. They get your details fraudulently, then call you. They hung up when inquired
