The "calling about your recent road traffic accident report" scam. I have not had an accident and don t need these parasites pestering me.

It s insurance on behalf of unite. They only phone if you tell them your interested in insurance. Also you are entitled to free cover upto 5k for a year but they are asking if you want more coverage. If you speak to them and you don t want it that s it for a year.

So this number called me this morning, when I answered a male with an Indian accent asked for me directly (he knew who I was), I ask who was speaking and he responded he was from the Credit Investigation Bureau - I instantly asked this idiot if that is the best he and his scamming buddy s could come up with, he responded with a stutter and promptly hung up on me. Call threatening prison/for non payment of tax

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information". I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. I was involved in a car accident about a year ago so they may well have been ringing about that.

Sick of this number coming up on my mobile... been informed its a scam so do not answer it. They ring me some times 10 times a day Arrrrrrrrrrr :-(
