They claimed to be from EE, and I'm not sure if he said 'my' mobile phone provider, or 'a' mobile phone provider. I am actually with EE and I know that when I get calls from them it isn't from a number in Sunderland. I challenged him on this, and he said that although when we call EE it's 150 when they call back it's from a landline. I know that's a lie as calls I receive back from EE are 0800 numbers. Got another call today from this number with a recorded message about triple glazing. I pressed 1 to see who called me. The person who answered was very surprised about receiving the return call! I explained why I was ringing. He said his organisation was "Energy Savings Experts". I gave him an earful about TPS and privacy. He then said "So you are not interested in energy savings then?". Got it in one, mate.
