Fraud SCAM Banking Bank scam, of which they don't actually state which bank is calling, in which you will be informed that your account has been debited £300 on something from Amazon and another £1100 on an unspecified international purchase. Message also suggest the you ring back to speak to an operator with the company, again not named, if you need further help or information. I suggest you DO NOT do this.

SPAM Going by other reports it is a Bank Scam, claiming 2 dodgy payments on your account. But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.

01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

Call supposed to be Amazon telling me someone had just spent £700 but they put a hold on it because they thought it was suspicious, it requested that I should press 1 for info. This was an automated call so I politely(not) said go away and I hung up
Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . Believe a scam - I had a letter which says it is from Lloyds Bank ( we do have a Lloyds Business a/c) but when rang this number on the letter they couldn't find our account by searching via name or post code or by ref number on letter - they asked for our account number which I didn't give or if I had a business card with me - I hung up - the phone number location for this number given above is a field near Blackburn in Lancashire but the address on letter is Edinburgh

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!
Another text message stating I have a voice mail and follow the link sent. Looks like it was sent from Manchester which is a hive of scam callers.
