On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!

SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.

Genuine Nat west fraud I telephoned my bank to verify this and was told to ring the number back as possible fraudulent activity is noted on my account. Lucky enough the bank was on the ball and I didn’t lose anything but they had denied £100s of pounds from being used on a gambling site

Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.
