Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down

Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Almost immediately I am called back and male caller asks for James, I am female. They are calling about the vehicle collision "James" was involved in. So you be the judge. Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. I said "I won t speak to you until you provide me with your company number from Companies House". He went quiet then tried to give me "01482489010"

Never ending requests for someone called Hamish !!! When asked they say they are a construction company & Hamish works for them !!! If so why all the phone calls ?!?!
