This is a research organisation that will be passed on your details when you use a service like Police, Fire, Local Authority or Social/Housing Associations. They get your number from one of these organisations. You can ask to delete your number and they do comply. If you don t want calls from this number, please be sure to inform the above associations you do not consent to your data being shared. They can be persistent and a nuisance if you don t answer and simply ask to delete your number.
This is a really great computer training company; they come to your house, and help you with anything you need help learning how to use, and also how to find out how to use something yourself. Really great and I will use them again, Adam is the best trainer, he has a computer Sciences degree so he knew his stuff, he had such a good way of describing it to me, and once I got it, everything started falling into place. 10/10 and highly recommended. They claim it's from a forex line and would I like to get involved in trading and invest £500 up front. I keep telling them no and then they start getting really angry. They start cursing and screaming and shouting. They're always from Turkey or Albania or Romania. Really unpleasant individuals - best advice is don't pick up. Just take the phone off the hook for about 20 minutes. They even phoned a few times in the middle of the night (Saturday night to Sunday morning) because I was unpleasant to them.
The person calling said they were from Carphone Warehouse and wanted to talk to me about upgrading my phone (but didn't seem to know what model phone I had, plus this mobile isn't with Carphone Warehouse), but the number is showing up online as belonging to a newsagent in Daventry so be cautious as I'm not sure it's legit...
