I have been getting calls from this number for around 1 year. I have never answered it and do not intend to. If it was someone wanting to contact me personally, they would leave a message or text me. I believe it is someone wanting to scam me or an unwanted sales call and they have no business ringing me.
I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. I was called from this number, claiming there is something wrong with my internet connection and saying that if I didn't answer his questions he would cut me off from BT who he said is providing my access. Very insistent, wouldn't give me details how he came to have my number but didn't know my name! Yes, ridiculous but maybe someone else would believe him. It sounded like a call centre in the background, definitely fraudulent.
