Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2079460xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Indian call centre dealing with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Had a call from a Withheld Number, so I asked who was calling and they replied that they were calling about the 2 free checks we were entitled to on our solar panels on behalf of Green Levy. I asked lots of questions and they were a bit evasive. Received two calls from two different women today...much the same as already reported. I have contacted BT directly to let them know..their advice is that they know about these scammers but can't do much about the phone calls...they advised contacting your own ISP to get blocking applications...

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on.
