SCAM / SPAM Bogus call purporting to be from HMRC. Apparently, HMRC are aware of it. Scam rings at least 4 times a week. Never answer unknown numbers. They never leave a message. Rang last night at 9.45pm and again this morning at 8am. Googled the number this morning and it comes up as private house in Sittingbourne. We do not know anyone in Sittingbourne.

Getting multiple calls EVERY SINGLE DAY from this number reaching back since July! I have no information on who they are.
Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.
