I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. This appears to be a "roboscam" regarding a so called large debit on 'my bank account ' Presumably they wanted me to give them my bank details. THIS IS A SCAM. BT need to STOP SELLING LOCAL AREA PHONE NUMBERS TO SCAMMWRS,!

Automated message saying HMRC court proceedings press 1 to speak to an agent.. So I hung up. suspected fraud.

TAXES / HMRC number called with an automated message saying they were from HMRC and there were mixalcukations in my tax which could result in my passport being suspended, and to select an option to speak to someone. I Che ked tge number and it came up as Russian Federation Pyatigarsk. Don't fall for it!

Pretending to be my heating insurance provider offering a lower rate. When I pushed for a company name it was similar but not quite the same as it should have been. They had my details!! Possible scam.

This number is used to scam people out if money on Whats App. It will pretend to be a family member and ask you to talk on What’s App only and then ask to lend money for Christmas presents because they have been locked out of their banking app. Always ask for information that will verify that you are actually talking to your family member or they will play a clever game and scam you out if your cash. They tried to get £940 off me!! This has been reported to What’s App.
