These guys say: "Money Save - in a response to a survey you filled in and expressed an interest in financial products"! Well I may have completed a survey but I certainly did not express an interest in anything! I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as cleared on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It s harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in you ll get yours !!
