They claim it's from a forex line and would I like to get involved in trading and invest £500 up front. I keep telling them no and then they start getting really angry. They start cursing and screaming and shouting. They're always from Turkey or Albania or Romania. Really unpleasant individuals - best advice is don't pick up. Just take the phone off the hook for about 20 minutes. They even phoned a few times in the middle of the night (Saturday night to Sunday morning) because I was unpleasant to them.

SCAM / SPAM Automated message allegedly investigating a fraudulent transaction on the Visa card attached to my Amazon account (iPhone refurbishment @ £350). Told to "press 1" to contact Amazon Fraud Detection team otherwise my Amazon account will be suspended. No such transaction showing up on my Amazon account or Visa card. I suspect this is a phishing scam..

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

received letter saying had won ?825,000.00 and to ring this number. Did not ring as letter said a "processing fee" had to be paid in order to get "winnings". SCAM. Sent letter back in their envelope telling them to "f**k off".
