Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Just had a "Bank security call" from this number saying 2 unauthorised transactions had gone through and to press 1. No bank name mentioned and according to Google this number is Thomas Sherriff And Co Agricultural Machinery manufacturers. Unbelievable.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. Fraud, claim to be from an appliance company offering an extended warranty. When questioned could not name the make or model of the appliance. Clearly not genuine.

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?
This number sent me a text on 26/02/2023 at 15:58 telling me to use the 6 digit authentication code it sent me to unfreeze my Facebook account. I called this number later and got Tesco mobile voicemail.
Must be fraud. This number just called me and I live in Norway....

Called Me at 6.30pm. Not sure who this is as its a London area number (I'm in Ireland) but upon Google it brings up hotel lily for this number. Not sure why they would be calling me or who this number actually is but if it rings you that's what I've found the number belongs to

This is a renewal scam phone number. Do not call them. You haven't been billed for renewing Norton (even if you are using it, this number is not Norton). They even claim the number is "toll free" - which it isn't. Also, this is not a term we use in the UK anyway, we would say it was a freephone number. The scam usually involves you logging in to your on-line bank, then them showing you that they have overrfunded you (by blanking your screen then manipulating the contents of the page).
Texted me with a strange link to follow… stated that the visited my place but no one answered… too many calls recently… stopped really be bothered, I send them straight into an erotic voyage….

07310218826 called 11Aug23 at 10:32hrs. Recorded message about unauthorised use of my Visa card. Lengthy message so I didn't wait for the end, sounded a familiar pattern. Hung up.

This is a scam to claim try and deliver a high-value package and harass monies out of the recipient. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS TO THEM

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.
