Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. Reluctant to let me hang up and said they would keep calling if i didnt respond, i told them i would block number
Checking detail to reactivate my call blocking service, asked for bank card details for the direct debit. Knew I paid phone bills by direct debit! Supposedly passed me to the manager to confirm it was a bonefide call etc. etc. I ended the call. Very aggressive.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
