yesterday reported that told them to take us off their list. today had another 3 calls,asked to speak to their manager, whosounded exactlylike the first caller, said if we answered their questions then we could be taken of the list as it would take a while to find us to delete us. My caller display showed international 01242513505. Had two call in last hour said from BT, advised my router faulty, told me go turn on computer immediately almost barking instructions......got. Dry aggressive when I told him I did not have q computer/laptop etc. Second call I said shall I just give you all my bank details and things now so we don t have to waste each other s time LOL his response was to call me a rude word and hang up ......ohh wait they are ringing me again.......

The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. British Transport Police (BTP) calling back regarding an incident I had reported. Confirmed with them that they are based in a Transport for London (TfL) office which explains why most reports state that these are TfL calls, but may in some cases be BTP.

SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.
