On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Scam call - voice message said it was a call from my bank security department but didn't say what bank it was.
This was an automated call advising I had suspected fraud on my accounts. Gave 2 transactions and was asked to press 1 to accept 2 to decline. I put the phone down and called the bank. It wasn’t them! Please just put the phone down on this number and don’t press any buttons
This phone number along with multiple other UK numbers call my Canadian phone number HUNDREDS of times throughout the day for someone I don't know. They refuse to stop calling me.

Claimed to be from my local council seeing if I have damp and mould. I live in Berkshire so definitely not my local council as it’s a Scotland area code.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
When I answered the guy said hello then hung up as soon as I said it back. Weird, and annoying.
