The Redditch (01527) number followed by 419 and three subsequent digits (e.g. 01527 419134, 01527 419162 etc.) are used by an apparently unscrupulous debt collection agency that is based in Grosvenor House in Redditch. SCAM Indian lady wanted me to give her my bank account details and dob in order to refund me £202. She said she represented Sky refund dept who had discovered they had been overcharging me for the past 12 months. I said that was odd as I am not a Sky customer. She gave her work address as 81 Newgate St, London. I pointed out that address is occupied by BT. She said Yes, BT and Sky now work together. She gave the postcode as OA4902. I pointed out there is no such postcode in UK.

Reported on other sites, trying to sell and get you to pay for an expired service, which you probably didn t have. Asked for individual by name, and rudely hung up when asked for theirs. Avoid talking to them
Did not pick up but suspect telemarketing or scam call.

Asked if I had reviewed my life insurance within the last 18 months. I informed him that I had no intention of discussing my life insurance arrangements and hung up.
Calls me repeatedly and usually rings off before I ve got to the phone.
This number has called 3 times today. Voice very similar to BT’s robotic voice saying ‘ You have a call waiting, press any key to continue’ I have not and will not!
