This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!
SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.
Call pretending to be HMRC threatening legal action unless one speaks to an agent by pressing the number one. I did not do that as I suspect that would then be charged at an exorbitant rate.

This number is claiming to be Currys PC World Mobile. I work at Currys myself and is internally being recognised as a spam number pretending to be Currys to sell fake mobile contracts for their details. Avoid.

This number called me this morning before 09.00hours Now the answer machine, clicked in, but just got a high pitched 1 note for a few seconds. Why don't they speak??? SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
I was called from this number but missed the call. So not sure if its a scam.
call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.
